Yes, every dryer vent (old and new) should be cleaned every 12 months. (Based on the governing standards. We recommend every 12-18 months depending on the use frequency.  

We can't state an actual figure as it varies on usage,  but the average cost savings due to increased efficiency from to cleaning your dryer vents is about 30%.

Cleaning your dryer vents is more than just simply vacuuming out the line you can reach. When a professional cleans the ducting for you it is cleaning from exterior to interior using industry standard tools to ensure a full clean and sanitizing. 

As we go through the vetting process of businesses local to you we recommend that you look at reviews and ask to see the MPH before and after the cleaning. Some companies will have a camera that is used to ensure they have cleaned the line properly.
